C'est vrai car elle montre très bien la vraie indifférence de la quasi-totalité de l'Occident qui pleure parfois des larmes de crocodiles pour se donner bonne conscience.

I know few things about Islam, I used to live two years in Palestine. And Marjane Satrapi know what she describe, it's reality. That's all.

Sorry , but no , no this is not the reality !
Reality in fact is relative and if it exist , surely thsi i snot the reality . At least i beleive what i trust , what i believe not what the others beleive .
Try to be critical .So make sure from what are you publishing first , please.

You're perfectly right, I try to be critical. And actually It is only a testimony. When she lived in Iran, Marjane Satrapi was happier than in Europe, she had friends, a boyfriend as occidental girls. It's always more complicated. Personnaly, I think that Saddam were not so bad for Irak or that Bachir El Assad either in Syria. But some facts are and that's the point. And when freedom don't exist, she don't exist.
I knew girls in Palestine who were wearing the veil and were smart and open-mind, more than a lot of french girls, I agree. But there was not complete freedom about culture, about books, about music. I even knew the first girl who decides to explode herself in Ramallah, I teach french to her. It's not Islam who conducts her to do this but despair and that Western people don't understand the war between Israel and Palestine.
